Reviews can bring up very mixed feelings - maybe you don’t like asking for them, or you fear receiving negative ones. Either way, reviews are a key part of getting your podcast heard, especially on Apple Podcasts.
Here are a few suggestions to increase your reviews and boost your visibility -

Add a request for reviews to your outro and your show notes
Explain!
Tell your listeners why reviews are so important - it’s not just an ego boost. It helps others find you.
Reach out to your regular listeners.
Use your newsletter or email contacts to personally reach out to your core listeners and ask them to review the podcast. Remind that it only takes a few minutes and really helps your show.
Review your favourites.
Don’t forget to practise what you preach. If you have a favourite podcast, tell them!
